Road to the Show is the signature game mode in MLB 10: The Show for PlayStation 2. Create and customize a player and put him through a set of interactive training routines that will build his skills and prepare him to make the leap from the Bush leagues, to the Majors. Once he joins an organization, the player controls his/her created character's individual career, gaining skill points earned through accomplishing goals that are handed down by the team manager. Keep your stats sheet headed in the right direction though, because points can also be deducted for goals not met, resulting in a career showing not even close to something you would see in Coopers Town. Build skills to get to The Show and beyond.

Baseball is full of history, not the least of which includes historic rivalries. This game is just ok The base running is pathetic. If you set it for the computer to control and you have a man on second with no outs and there is a ground ball he will stand in his stance and either be out at second or be tagged out. If the catcher appeals to the third or first base umpire while you are batting on a check swing ruled a ball the umps always say you went around (they did this to me a couple of times when I just sit the controller down because I knew I was taking so go figure) Maybe MLB will eventually start letting 3rd party developers back in the business so EASPORTS can revive the far superior MVP/TRIPLE PLAY SERIES.

i love this game it is so fun and very realistic, it is like being there or better yet being on the team and actually playing the game , the graphics are way cool , get it if you love baseball!!

trust me id rather watch myself slowly age and die than to play this. i could list all the things id rather do but ill just warn you, dont waste your money.

To get started this is the best baseball game ever. The graphics are great and the gameplay its self are great! There are a couple of game modes you can play. You can play a season,home run derby,franchise,exibition and road to the show. I am currently in a season with my phillies. Its not too hard and not too easy. Its a great game for any baseball fan. So overall it is a great game. I highly recommend you to get this game.
